Divisions & Units

The Police Department provides comprehensive law enforcement services to citizens through its divisions: Operations, Support Services, and Administrative Services.
  1. Administrative Services

    Administration is responsible for records, budgeting, purchasing, planning and recruitment. Professional standards is responsible for internal affairs investigations, public information, accreditation, grants, policy and training.

  2. Operations

    Operations Division enforces traffic and criminal laws, answers calls for service and apprehends criminal violators.

  3. Support Services

    The Support Services Division is supervised by the Support Services Division Commander and includes Investigations, Community Services Unit, School Resource Unit and Colonial Community Corrections.
