Fort Eustis Joint Land Use Study Draft Report Ready for Review

JLUS Draft Report Cover

Newport News, James City County, and York County in cooperation with Fort Eustis and input from city and County officials, local residents and key stakeholders have drafted the Joint Land Use Study (JLUS). The primary purpose of the JLUS is to encourage a team environment between Fort Eustis and the local jurisdictions. The relationship provides the opportunity to work together to aid in reducing incompatible development while accommodating new growth and economic development.

In a continued effort for public input, the JLUS will be shared with the public for a 30-day comment period.  The comment period opened on Friday, Jan. 19 and closes on Monday, Feb. 19.

Download the Draft JLUS from the JLUS website (www.forteustisjlus.com/documents).

Comments can be provided via the comment box or emailed to Britta Ayers at bayers@nnva.gov.
