Mid County Park is a 19-acre park that is home to the Kidsburg, a 30,000-square-foot lighted playground. It is also home to a Vietnam Veteran Memorial statue, which was donated by David Hooker in 1993 to honor local residents who gave their lives in the Vietnam War. The memorial was adopted in 2013 by Franciscan Order OFS to help maintain the cleanliness of the area surrounding the memorial.

Dog Rules
Mid County Park is a dog-friendly park. Dogs must be under complete and immediate control of owners at all times and must be on a leash no longer than 8 feet. Owners are responsible for removing dog waste. Litter bags are available and guests should use only what they need while in the park. Animals, except Service Animals as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, are not permitted on athletic fields, sport courts, playgrounds or any other designated facilities.
