The Board of Zoning Appeals granted a variance to Section 24-237(b), Yard Regulations, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance. This variance reduces the rear yard setback from 35 feet to 17 feet for an existing deck. The variance was amended to also reduce the east side yard setback from 15 feet to 12 feet for an existing garage.
