Colonial Anger Management Program
- a new direction in corrections
Colonial Community Corrections and the Center for Therapeutic Justice offer an on-site, comprehensive ten-session, one and one half hour, weekly group therapy and psycho-educational forensic Anger Management Program. This program is designed especially for men and women over age 18 in the Williamsburg area whose lives have been affected by anger and the criminal justice system. Through active group participation, reading and written self-work, and contact with CCC, the participant's main goal is "to take a good, hard, honest look at yourself." Client co-pay is arranged through payments to CCC. Completion reports/evaluations are provided to the agency. Certificates are awarded to successful participants. People learn to "stay cool" and "stay out." (Please see client contract and program description for more details.)
