Colonial Community Corrections Transitional Services

 

(CCCTS) provides transitional services, also known as Pre-Release and Post-Incarceration (PAPIS) services, to adults prior to their release from incarceration in the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail (VPRJ).  Upon release from incarceration, CCCTS will coordinate services for inmates transitioning into the local communities.  Transitional services include:

  • Mentoring through Williamsburg walk the Talk program (WWTT)
  • Job readiness training in cooperation with VPRJ
  • Job placement referrals
  • Emergency housing
  • Transportation Assistance through Williamsburg Transit and WWTT
  • Pre-Release planning
  • Referrals for emergency food and clothing
