Support Services Division
The Support Services Division is a customer service oriented division primarily supporting the Fire and EMS staff members that serve our community. The primary function of this division is to coordinate and provide Fire and EMS training to the Fire Department. Additional responsibilities that fall within the Support Services Division also include EMS education and operations, recruitment and retention, health and wellness, special event planning and Target Hazard pre-planning among other things. Staff members assigned to this division are a hybrid of both civilian and operational employees. Some operational employees will rotate into a limited term position directly from and back into being an operational Fire Rescue Technician. Personnel assigned to the Support Services Division include the Assistant Chief of Support Services, EMS Educator, Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, Fire and EMS training staff and operational EMS Lieutenants.
