Chickahominy Haven - Canal Street (complete) Stormwater Replacement/Improvements
Dec. 9, 2013
Scope of Work
This project consists of the replacement of a failed stormwater drainage pipe from Canal Street to a man-made canal that is tributary to the Chickahominy River. The project will replace an existing failed 18-inch metal pipe with a polypropylene pipe. The existing pipe is not located within a drainage easement so a public drainage easement is required to be obtained from both property owners involved. The project will help alleviate a flooding problem that impacts several properties and septic drainfields in this portion of Chickahominy Haven.
