Warhill Trail Dam Decommissioning - Complete
June 4, 2012
Scope of Work
This project consisted of the decommissioning of the dam on Warhill Trail that formed a pond on the west side of the road where it crossed Longhill Swamp. Rather than improve the dam to meet state dam safety regulations, it was determined that it would be less costly to decommission the dam and turn it into a typical road crossing. This was accomplished by boring four 36-inch-pipe culverts under Warhill Trail effectively draining the pond.
Date of Completion - May 22, 2012
Note: Construction activities were completed on time and within the contact period.
Project construction contract cost - $429,741.50
Total Change Orders - 2*
Total Amount of Change Orders - $60,895.77
