Volunteer Services connects people and organizations with volunteer opportunities with James City County Government.

The Office of Volunteer Services develops and coordinates volunteer support for all County departments.

We work with departments to identify volunteer opportunities and assist in recruiting volunteers to provide these services.

We refer citizens to volunteer opportunities within the County and direct them to non-County resources, as needed, such as

We serve as a contact and coordinate volunteer projects with partners such as the College of William & Mary, Sentara-Williamsburg Community Hospital, that have County-wide applicability.
