Julia B. (Julie) Leverenz (citizen-at-large)

Julia B. (Julie) Leverenz came to the Williamsburg area in 1976 and has lived in James City County’s Berkeley District since 1979. She holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary. In 2008, she retired after 22 years at Jefferson Lab, where she managed administrative services before becoming a Subcontracting Officer. Julie has been president of the Greater Williamsburg United Way, the Historic Route Five Association and the Williamsburg branch of the American Association of University Women. She served on James City County's Special Stormwater Criteria Task Force, and since 1999 has been a member of the County's Cable Communications Advisory Committee. She is co-president of The Friends of the National Park Service for Green Spring and an Elder of Jamestown Presbyterian Church.
