Tom Tingle (Economic Development Authority/Business Climate Task Force)
Tom Tingle and his wife Chris have been residents of Williamsburg since 1984 and currently reside in the greater First Colony area. Tom holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and has been a principal with Guernsey Tingle Architects since 1989. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate. During his 24 years in the area, Tom has also served on a variety of boards and commissions including the County’s Five Forks Area Study, Business Climate Task Force, the Salvation Army, and the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance. He presently serves as Vice Chairman and Director of the County’s Economic Development Authority, several architectural review and design committees, and on the Board of Directors for Housing Partnerships, Inc. and Virginians for High Speed Rail.
