Land Use Application
As part of the 2035 Comprehensive Plan update, landowners had the opportunity to propose changes to their Land Use designation of propose that their property be added to or removed from the Primary Service Area.
Applications were accepted until April 30, 2014 and the application period is now closed.
The Planning Commission Working Group reviewed the Land Use designation applications between November and January. The final recommendations are summarized on the voting sheet.
Next steps for review of Land Use applications include:
- Jan. 27, 4 p.m., Joint Work Session between the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors
- Feb. 19, 4 p.m., Planning Commission Working Group consideration of the Land Use Map and Land Use Descriptions
The Land Use Map will reflect changes that result from review of the Land Use applications and will be considered as part of the complete 2035 Comprehensive Plan. Public hearings are tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission in May and June and for the Board of Supervisors in July and August.
