Kingsmill Resort honored – The Board of Supervisors and Economic Development Authority (EDA) recognized Kingsmill Resort as this year's recipient of the Captain John Smith Award for their exemplary contributions in the business community.
Roberts District Supervisor and 2012 Board Chairman, John McGlennon, noted the company has been a member of the JCC business community since the 1970s, "For more than 30 years, Kingsmill Resort has assisted in supporting a thriving tourism base for James City County and the Historic Triangle. Kingsmill Resort is the 2012 recipient of the Captain John Smith Award for their continued investment in James City County and their sustainable efforts at the resort."
