PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, MARCH 6, 2003, AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE BOARD ROOM, 101-C MOUNTS BAY ROAD, JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CASES:
ZA-14-02 4613 Massena Drive
Mr. and Mrs. Burlin Rogers, property owners, have requested a variance to Section 24-238 (b), Yard Regulations, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance for the continued placement of an existing above ground pool at 4613 Massena Drive. The above ground pool currently encroaches approximately five (5) feet into the required 35 foot rear yard setback. The property is located in the R-1, Limited Residential Zoning District and can be further identified as Parcel No. (02-0-0004) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (07-4).
ZA-01-03 144 Tewning Road and 148 Tewning Road
Mr. Mark Berry, on behalf of Robert Berry, property owner, has requested a variance to Section 24-416, Yard regulations, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance for the development of Tewning Commercial Park at 144 Tewning Road and 148 Tewning Road. The variance request is to reduce the required rear yard setback from 75 feet to 35 feet to construct small office spaces and warehouses. The property is currently zoned M-1, Limited Business/Industrial and can be further identified as Parcel No. (01-0-0015) and (01-0-0016) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (39-1).
