PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, JULY 17, 2003, AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE BUILDING E, CONFERENCE ROOM, 101-E MOUNTS BAY ROAD, JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CASES:
ZA-07-03 108 Wetherburn Lane
Mr. Kerry Straight, property owner, has requested a variance to Section 24-545, Setback Requirements, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance. The above referenced property was granted a variance of seven (7') to the required thirty-five (35') rear yard setback on July 23, 1992 for the existing deck. The current property owner, Mr. Kerry Straight has applied for an additional variance to permit him to screen in the existing deck. This property is located in the R-2, General Residential Zoning District and is a Residential Cluster Development. The property can be further identified as Parcel No. (26-0-0003) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (32-3).
ZA-08-03 16 Tempsford Lane
Mr. Michael Finkelstein, property owner, has requested a variance to Section 24-258 (b), Yard Regulations, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance for the continued replacement of an existing deck at 16 Tempsford Lane in the Windsor Forest subdivision. This request is to reduce the rear yard setback from the required 35 feet to 29 feet. This property is located in the R-2, General Residential Zoning District and can be further identified as Parcel No. (18-0-0006) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (32-3).
