Committee members are Henry Branscome II, David Fuss, Hampton Jesse, Gerald Johnson, Jon Nystrom, Tom Tingle, Kay Thorington, Berkeley District Supervisor Jay T. Harrison, Sr., and Planning Commission member Joe McCleary.

The Board of Supervisors created the Committee to conduct a comprehensive study of the Five Forks area over the next three months and recommend guiding principles for future development. Five Forks is the developed area in the immediate vicinity of the intersection of John Tyler Highway (State Route 5) and Ironbound Road (State Route 615).
