Balloon Test for Communications Tower Height Simulation - James City County, Virginia

 

 

Five Forks Area Notice is hereby given to the general public that a balloon test will be conducted on Monday, April 5, 2004, to simulate the height of a proposed 38-foot extension to an existing 112-foot tall communications tower. The test will take place at 4311 John Tyler Highway (approximately 2,000 feet from the intersection of John Tyler Highway and Ironbound Road). The property is further identified as Parcel (1-20) on the JCC Real Estate Tax Map (46-2). The balloon will be in the air from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

 

In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the balloon test will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2004, at the time listed above. Maps depicting the site of the balloon test are available from the James City County Planning Division, 101-E Mounts Bay Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
