PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

 

THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, July 1, 2004, AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE BOARD ROOM,101-F MOUNTS BAY ROAD,JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CASE:

 

ZA-08-04. 137 Forest Heights Road - Mr. Abbitt Woodall of Housing Partnerships Inc., on behalf of Ms. Doris Anderson has applied for a variance to Section 24-256, Setback Requirements, and Section 24-258 (b), Yard Regulations of the James City County Zoning Ordinance for construction of a new single-family dwelling at 137 Forest Heights Road. The applicant plans on demolishing the existing nonconforming dwelling and constructing a new dwelling. The variance request is to reduce the required setback from the centerline of the Forest Heights Road right-of-way from 50 feet to 23 feet and the rear yard setback from 35 feet to 23 feet for construction of a single-family dwelling. The property is currently zoned R-2, General Residential ,and can be further identified as Parcel No. (04-0-0015) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (32-2).

 

All interested persons are invited to attend this hearing. The applications are on file and may be viewed during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Planning Office, 101-E Mounts Bay Road, James City County, Virginia or call 253-6685.
