Public Hearing Notice for Planning Commission

 


The Planning Commission of James City County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 1, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. in the County Government Center Board Room, 101-F Mounts Bay Road, James City County, Virginia, to consider the following:

 

CASE NO. Z0-1-04. Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Subdivision Ordinance Revision - An ordinance to amend and reordain Chapter 19, Subdivisions, of the Code of the County of James City, Virginia, by amending Article III, Requirements for Design and Minimum Improvements, Individual Sewer, Section 19-60, to permit the use of alternate septic systems without Planning Commission review and approval.

 

CASE NO. SUP-1-04. STAT Services, Inc. - Mr. Robert Oliver has applied on behalf of property owner Powhatan Springs, LLC for a special use permit to allow the construction of a 12,000 square foot office building at 133 Powhatan Springs Road. The property is zoned R-8, Rural Residential, and is designated as Low Density Residential on the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map. The property is more specifically identified as Parcel (1-9) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (46-2).

 

CASE NO. Z-1-04 & MP-2-04 New Town Section 5 - Mr. Alvin P. Anderson has applied on behalf of New Town Associates, LLC, to amend the master plan and proffers for approximately 8.8 acres currently zoned R-8, Rural Residential with proffers and M-1, Limited Business/Industrial with proffers and to rezone approximately 7.1 acres, currently zoned R-8 with proffers to M-1 with proffers to allow construction of 63,358 square feet of wholesale, warehouse and/or industrial uses. The Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map designates this property for Mixed Use development; the principal suggested uses are a mixture of commercial, office and limited industrial with some residential secondary uses. This property is located at 152 and 155 Tewning Road and is more specifically identified as a portion of Parcels (1-3) and (1-4) on the JCC Real Estate Tax Map No. (38-2).

 

CASE NO. AFD-7-86. Mill Creek Agricultural and Forestal District - Gulden Addition - Mr. Randolph Gulden has applied to add 87.201 acres to the existing Mill Creek Agricultural and Forestal District (AFD-7-86). The property is located at 126 Camp Road and is identified as Parcel No. (1-12) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map (10-2). The parcel is zoned A-1, General Agricultural and is located in the Stonehouse District.
