James City County property owners are receiving their notices of real estate assessment change. Many assessed values have risen substantially over last year. So how does the assessment process work? Why are property values changing? And what can homeowners do if they have questions concerning the assessed value of their property? Real Estate Assessment Director Richard Sebastian answers some of the questions most frequently asked by homeowners in Real Estate Assessments...the process in James City County. Watch this program on County government channel JCC TV48 September 2 to September 7, and again September 9 to September 14 at 2, 6, 10 both a.m and p.m daily.
