PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

 

The Planning Commission of James City County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 3, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. in the County Government Center Board Room, 101-F Mounts Bay Road, James City County, Virginia, to consider the following:

 

Case No. SUP-14-04 4311 John Tyler Monopole Tower. Mr. Nathan Holland has applied on behalf of Omnipoint Communications for a special use permit to add a 38-foot extension to an existing 112-foot tall communications tower. The site is at 4311 John Tyler Highway, and can be further identified as Parcel No. (1-20) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (46-2). The property is zoned R-8, Rural Residential District, and is designated as Low Density Residential on the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map.

 

Case No. SUP-13-04 Williamsburg Farms Country Inn. Mr. Patrick Duffeler has applied for a special use permit to construct and operate a 36 room inn. The site is at 5800 Wessex Hundred Road, and can be further identified as Parcel No. (1-10) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No.(48-4). The property is zoned R-8, Rural Residential and is designated Low Density Residential on the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map.

 

Case No. SUP-12-04. Hogan Day Care. Ms. Catherine Hogan has applied for a special use permit amendment for the continued operation of a child day care center at 233 Nina Lane. The existing special use permit for the day care expires on July 10, 2004 and must be renewed. The property is zoned R-2, General Residential and is more specifically identified as Parcel No. (3-203) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (23-4). The parcel is designated as Low-Density Residential on the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map.

 

Case No. Z-11-03 & MP-11-03. Stonehouse Planned Community Amendment. Mr. Alvin P Anderson has submitted a revised rezoning and master plan application on behalf of Stonehouse Capital, LLC and Stonehouse at Williamsburg, LLC for Stonehouse Glen, LLC, Fieldstone Investment, LLC, Mount Laurel, LLC, Fairmont Investment, LLC, Six Hundred North, LLC, Tymar Capital, LLC and Commerce Park at Stonehouse, LLC to amend the master plan and proffers to rezone approximately 4,684 acres currently zoned PUD-C, Planned Unit Development Commercial with Proffers to PUD-R, Planned Unit Development Residential with Proffers, redesignate commercial uses on PUD-C zoned property with proffers and redesignate residential uses on PUD-R zoned property with proffers. There is no proposed increase to the total number of approved residential units within the Stonehouse Planned Community. The Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map designates this property for Mixed Use and Low Density Residential development. The property is located at 9186 Mount Zion Road, 9600 Mount Zion Road, 9235 Fieldstone Parkway, 9760 Mill Pond Run and 9501 Sycamore Landing Road in Toano, VA that is more specifically identified as Parcel No.s (1-25), (1-26), (1-27), (1-28) (1-29) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (4-4), Parcel No. (1-10) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (5-3), Parcel No. (1-1) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (6-3), Parcel (1-1) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (6-4), Parcel (1-20) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (7-4) and Parcel No.(1-47) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (12-1).
