Delegate Melanie Rapp announces three Town Hall meetings

Delegate Melanie L. Rapp (R-York) has scheduled three town meetings for residents of the 96th District.
The first meeting will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on December 6, 2004, at the James City County Library, 7700 Croaker Road, Williamsburg. Public safety will be the topic of this meeting, and the featured guests will be James City-Williamsburg Sheriff Bob Deeds, James City Deputy Chief of Police Emmett Harmon, James City Fire Chief Richard Miller, York-Poquoson Sheriff Danny Diggs, York Fire Chief Stephen Kopczynski, and Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail Administrator John Kuplinski.
The second meeting will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. December 8, 2004, at the Tabb Library, 100 Long Green Boulevard, Yorktown. Transportation will be the topic of this meeting, and the featured guests will be the Virginia Department of Transportation's Chief of System Operations Constance S. Sorrell, Hampton Roads District Administrator Dennis Heuer, P.E., and Williamsburg Resident Engineer David Steele, P.E.
The third meeting will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on December 16, 2004, at the Yorktown Library, 8500 George Washington Memorial Highway, Yorktown. The preparations for the 225th Anniversary of the Victory at Yorktown and the 400th Anniversary of the landing at Jamestown will be the topic of this meeting, and the featured guest will be Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation Senior Director of Museum Operations & Education Joe Gutierrez, Jr.
