James City County Parks and Recreation Accepting Applications for 2005 Total Rec Camps

Williamsburg, VA - James City County Division of Parks and Recreation will be accepting registrations for Total Rec Camps 2005 starting February 11 for James City County/Williamsburg residents and February 18 for non-residents. The registration is a mail-in registration only. Applications for the camp will be available at the JCC/Williamsburg Community Center, James River Community Center, and E.O.C. building. Activities include thematic arts and crafts, stories, sports, indoor and outdoor games, a weekly field trip, swim day, and visits from the Bookmobile and Williamsburg Regional Library, and more. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided. Lunch is needed daily.


The program will be offered at Clara Byrd Baker, Matthew Whaley, Rawls Byrd, D.J. Montague, and Stonehouse for Total Rec I Camps (ages 5-9) and Toano and Berkeley for Total Rec II Camps (ages 10-14). Camp will run from June 20 - August 26. Fees are based on a weekly part-time (1-3 days) and full-time (4-5 days) rate of $50/$70 plus field trip fees. Space is limited. Registrations are taken on a first come first serve basis until the program is full.
