Warhill Sports Complex announced a New Location for Annual Easter Egg Extravaganza

Williamsburg, VA - James City County Division of Parks and Recreation is preparing for the Annual Easter Egg Extravaganzas on March 26. Warhill Sports Complex (WSC) will take the place of James City/Williamsburg Community Center as the location of the first hunt. The second event will take place at the James River Community Center (JRCC) in Grove. Both events are free and open to children who are walking to 7 years of age.


The WSC hunt is sponsored in cooperation with the City of Williamsburg Parks and Recreation Department with help from local Key Club and William & Mary students. Children walking to 2 years old will hunt at 10:00 a.m., ages 3 - 4 begin at 10:15 a.m., and children between the ages of 5 - 7 will begin at 10:30 a.m. Special activities are scheduled before and during the hunts including a visit from the Easter Bunny, James City County Fire Department, and live animals from the Virginia Living Museum.


James River Community Center's hunt begins at 1:00 p.m. for all children walking to 7 years of age. Activities are scheduled including face painting, visits from the Easter Bunny and much more.
