James City County residents who subscribe to cable service will be asked to share their thoughts on James City County Government Channel 48 programming.
In May and June, County cable subscribers will receive a JCC TV48 programming survey in their cable bills. Viewers are encouraged to fill out the self-addressed and postage paid surveys, which will be returned to the County's Communications Office.
JCC TV48 is carried by Cox Cable as part of its government/educational/public access television system. The channel is available to cable subscribers with "limited" or more tiers of cable service. JCC TV48 broadcasts live meetings of the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission and produces local government programs.
Communications regularly conducts surveys to solicit viewer opinions on the shows they like and don't like and why. The results will be used to guide future programming for better serving the local government television community to fulfill JCC TV48's goal of Joining County & Community.
