James City County's Communications Office was recently honored for its live coverage of Board of Supervisors meetings by the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) in its 20th Annual Government Programming Awards.
Local government channel JCC TV48 received award recognition in the Public/Community Meetings category in the competition, which attracted more than 1,000 entries from across the country. The awards, which recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local government agencies, were recently presented at NATOA's 25th annual conference.
