Planning Commission Public Hearing Notice

The Planning Commission of James City County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 12, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. in the County Government Center Board Room, 101-F Mounts Bay Road, James City County, Virginia, to consider the following:

 

Case No. Z0-5-05. Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Aged Facilities

 

An ordinance to amend and reordain Chapter 24, Zoning, of the Code of the County of James City, Virginia, by amending Article V, Districts, Division 8, Rural Residential Districts, R-8, Section 24-349, Uses permitted by special use permit only, to allow facilities for the residence and/or care of the aged in the Rural Residential Zoning District upon issuance of a special use permit by the Board of Supervisors.

 

Case No. SUP-26-05. Williamsburg Landing Parking Addition

 

Mr. Paul Gerhardt has applied on behalf of Williamsburg Landing, Inc., to construct a parking lot as an accessory use to Williamsburg Landing. The property is located at 5560 Williamsburg Landing Drive and can be identified as Parcel (1-12) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (48-2).The property is zoned R-8, Rural Residential and is designated Low Density Residential on the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map.

 

Case No. AFD-5-86. Barnes Swamp Toano Business Center L.L.C. Withdrawal

 

Mr. Michael Brown has applied to withdraw approximately 79.12 acres from the existing Barnes Swamp AFD. This acreage was previously subdivided into a five lot subdivision and the applicant intends to create an additional four lots upon withdrawal. The property is located at 11125 Old Stage Road and can be further identified as Parcels (5-1), (5-2), (5-3), (5-4) and (5-5) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (4-1).

 

Case No. SUP-27-05. Chickahominy Baptist Church Expansion

 

Ms. Marion J. Brown has applied for a Special Use Permit to construct a 5,800-square foot addition to the existing Chickahominy Baptist Church building. The property is located at 2900 Chickahominy Road and may be further identified as Parcel (1-9) on the James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (22-3). The property is zoned R-8, Rural Residential and is designated as Rural Lands by the JCC Comprehensive Plan.
