Public Hearing Notice - Board of Zoning Appeals

THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, JULY 6, 2006, AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE BOARD ROOM, 101-F MOUNTS BAY ROAD, JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CASES:

 

ZA-07-06. 10127 Sycamore Landing Road

Mr. & Mrs. Charles Mihalcoe, property owners, are requesting variances to Section 24-217(a), Yard Regulations, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a single family dwelling at 10127 Sycamore Landing Road. The variances requested are to reduce the required left side yard setback from 15 feet to 12.5 feet and to reduce the required right side yard setback from 15 feet to 7.5 feet. The property is zoned A-1, General Agriculture, and can be further identified as Parcel No. (02-0-0004-a) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (07-2).

 

ZA-08-06. 3448 Colony Mills Road

Mr. Tom Sullivan of Abbitt Realty Company LLC. has applied for a variance to Section 24-258(b), Yard Regulations, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance on behalf of Nice Associates to permit the construction of a single family dwelling at 3448 Colony Mills Road. The variance request is to reduce the required rear yard setback from 35 feet to 25 feet. The property is zoned R-2, General Residential and can be further identified as Parcel No. (06-0-0147) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map No. (12-2).
