THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2007, AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE BOARD ROOM, 101-F MOUNTS BAY ROAD, JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CASE:
ZA-0011-2007 7375 Richmond Road
Mr. Joel Almquist is requesting variances to Section 24-393, Setback Requirements, and 24-394, Yard Regulations, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance to permit the relocation of a historic structure at 7375 Richmond Road. The variances requested are to reduce the required minimum front yard setback from fifty feet (50’) to thirty five feet (35’), to reduce the required left side setback from twenty feet (20’) to seventeen feet (17’), and to reduce the required right side setback from twenty feet (20’) to twelve feet (12’) for the relocation of a historic structure. The property is currently zoned B-1, General Business, and can be further identified as James City County Tax Map Number (23-2-01-0-0030).
