JCC TV48’s “FYI” features new Surry bus route

James City County residents can stay tuned in to County events as well as gain helpful tips to improve their community by watching JCC TV48’s news program, “FYI.” The latest “FYI” program will begin airing on Nov. 1.
Williamsburg Area Transport’s new bus route to Surry, recycling tips, and how to become a “grease buster” by learning to properly dispose of household fats, oil and grease are highlighted in the program. Other features include taking a tour of the new Heritage Humane Society Shelter, a monument dedication by the Williamsburg Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, Comprehensive Plan updates, and soccer highlights from the County’s youth league.
“FYI” airs daily at 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Cox Channel 48 and can also be viewed online at www.jccEgov.com. The news show is based on the bimonthly “FYI” newsletter.
