James City County has released a new, Web-based tool to track development applications from submission through the review and approval process.
CaseTrak 2.0 allows anyone with an Internet connection to quickly and easily retrieve information and check the status of development applications throughout the County. It replaces the Development Plan Tracking Report previously available on the County’s Web site, www.jccEgov.com. The program was designed with County citizens and applicants in mind by providing options to search by case name, number, street name, subdivision name, owner and much more. Once the case has been found, details about the application proposal, and where the project stands in the review process can be determined. Agency review comment letters that are dated after March 2007 are also available to view through CaseTrak for certain cases.
Initially, CaseTrak 2.0 can be accessed from the County’s home page at www.jccEgov.com under the “What’s New” section. The application also can be accessed from the Planning Division home page at http://www.jccegov.com/planning/index.html.
For more information or to contribute feedback regarding CaseTrak 2.0, contact the Planning Division at 253-6685 or email@example.com.
