The new episode of “FYI” on JCC TV48 features the County’s “Green Team” leader and Environmental Coordinator, Jennifer Privette. She explains the green initiatives enabled around James City County to become the third place winner in the “Go Green Government Challenge” by the Virginia Municipal League.  Through Fleet Management, Solid Waste Management and other energy efficiency programs, the County reduced their carbon footprint and cost, for more information visit www.gogreenva.org.

“FYI” host, Eric Williams teamed up with Margaret Tucker, Fire Safety Public Educator to help get you prepared for winter and learn how to properly put out grease fires. She also gives household fire safety tips and explains why having only one type of smoke alarm in your house is not enough.
