JCC TV48 Launches New Programming Schedule

Beginning Monday, March 10, JCC TV48, James City County’s government access channel on Cox Cable will change the way programs are scheduled. Interested in cooking or gardening? Tune in between 2 and 4 p.m. How about health and fitness? You can find programs on exercise or parks and recreation from 7 to 11 a.m.


“This is a great way to attract new viewers to JCC TV48 and give our loyal viewers new choices”, says Jody Puckett, James City County Communications Director. “We have unique programming that you can’t find on other channels. We are especially proud of the 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 7 - 10 p.m. time blocks where viewers can watch programs about James City County that are produced right here in the County.”


Rounding out the new schedule are local history shows between 4 - 7 p.m. and consumer news programming, 10 p.m. - midnight. Detailed program schedules can be found at and on the JCC TV48 bulletin board.


In addition, effective March 13, all Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission meeting rebroadcasts will move to Public Access Channel 46 on Thursdays and Fridays respectively.


If not a Cox Cable customer, JCC TV48 is available live on the web at twenty-four hours a day. Most programs are also available online On DEMAND so viewers can tune in when it is convenient for them.
