THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA, WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, March 6, 2008, AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE BOARD ROOM, 101-F MOUNTS BAY ROAD, JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CASE:
ZA-0001-2008 104 Leon Drive
Mr. Richard White, property owner, has applied for a variance to Section 24-238 (a) and (b), Yard Regulations, and Section 24-240 (4), Height Limits, of the James City County Zoning Ordinance for the continued placement of a shed located at 104 Leon Drive. The variance request is to allow the continued placement of a shed that is 4’11’’ from the right property line and 5’ from the rear property line, and noticeably taller then the main dwelling unit located on the property. The shed and dwelling unit are located on one parcel of land that can further be identified as parcel numbers (23-0-0007-C) on James City County Real Estate Tax Map number (47-2). The property is currently zoned R-1, Limited Residential.
