The Community Participation Team (CPT) for the Comprehensive Plan update has organized four CPT Forums to be held in July. The purpose of the Forums is to allow citizen organizations to give a presentation of their thoughts and ideas for the County’s Comprehensive Plan update.
Forums will begin at 5:00 p.m. on the following Thursdays, after the CPT’s regularly scheduled 4 p.m. meetings:

If your organization has something to say, but was unable to sign up to present at a Forum, the CPT is still accepting written comments. Letters can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Planning Division.
A second round of Community Conversations is scheduled for August and September. At these meetings, the hot topic items brought up in the first round and the CPT Forums will be discussed in more detail. We look forward to seeing you then!

The Comprehensive Plan is the County’s master plan for guiding future growth. Reviewed every 5 years, it is used to evaluate development proposals and guide the decisions of County departments. It covers all aspects of the community, including economic development, population growth, public facilities, parks and recreation, and transportation.
