Kidsburg, the community-built playground at Mid County Park, will be undergoing routine maintenance and repair work. Beginning Monday, November 23, one targeted section of the playground will be closed each week; however, the rest of the playground and the surrounding park will remain open. All work should be completed during the week of January 4. Work includes refurbishing wood in numerous areas. Mid-County Park is located at 3793 Ironbound Road.

Kidsburg, constructed in 1994, is a community-grown playground designed by children, and built by their parents and community members. Parents raised the money to buy materials, and garnered individual and community construction and funding support. The park also features adaptive equipment for children with disabilities. For more information, call 259-5364.
