Phone: (757) 253-6864

James City County’s 2009 Progress Report is now available exclusively online at  The Report takes full advantage of the opportunities that are inherent to the Internet.  Readers are encouraged to interact with the information by watching video clips and following links imbedded throughout the seven page report.  The links connect readers to pages within the County’s website where they can learn more about County projects, master planning and other initiatives that affect their lives.

The electronic version of the Progress Report supports the County’s ongoing efforts to protect the environment by eliminating over 184,000 pieces of paper from circulation and saves over $6,500 on printing and mailing costs.

The Progress Report can be printed by selecting the “printer friendly version” button on the Chairman’s Message page. For those who need internet access, public computers are available at the Williamsburg Library, 515 Scotland Street and the James City County Library, 7770 Croaker Road.
