  • Staff #9- Toano Moderate Density Residential
  • LU-0021-2008- Hill Pleasant Farm Economic Opportunity proposal,
  • Land Use, and
  • Community Character

Transportation, which was originally included on the agenda, will be covered later this month.  Visit www.jccplans.org/steering for the latest schedule information and meeting materials.

The meeting begins at 3 p.m. at the County Government Complex, 101 Mounts Bay Road, in the Building F Board Room.  The meeting is televised live on JCC TV48 and available on-demand on www.jccegov.com/jcctv48.

The Steering Committee’s task is to blend citizen comments collected by the Community Participation Team (CPT) with staff’s research to develop policies and create the actual Plan.

The Comprehensive Plan is the County’s master plan for guiding future growth.  Reviewed every five years, it is used to evaluate development proposals and guide the decisions of County departments.  It covers all aspects of the community, including economic development, population growth, public facilities, parks and recreation, and transportation.
