Come learn about all the recreational programs and services available to you and your family through James City County and its programming partners! Park and Recreation’s Destination Recreation Expo is your family’s free, one-stop-shop to summer camps, sports classes and leagues, outdoor programs, aquatic programs, Rec Connect, inclusion programs and special events.  The Expo will be filled with fun activities, exhibits, informational booths, interactive demonstrations, hands-on projects, raffles and much more!  There’ll be games and activities to keep your children entertained while you gather information to help you make good decisions on nutrition, fitness, health and recreation.

The Expo will be held on Saturday, February 20, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, 5301 Longhill Road.
The Expo is also a first preview and early sign-up period for summer programs and camps; our camps fill quickly so don’t let this opportunity pass you by! After the Expo, you’ll have to wait until April 14 to register for most programs.

Also come meet County staff including Parks with its exhibits and demonstrations on cooking smore’s, and learning to bait and fish!  Center staff will provide facility tours and class demonstrations. Representatives from all of the local athletic leagues will be on-hand with information on how to join their programs. For more information, call Angie Sims at 259-5353.
