2011 Citizen Leadership Academy graduates

Fifteen James City County residents were recognized by the Board of Supervisors at the May 10 Board meeting for completing the County’s Citizen Leadership Academy (CLA). CLA is a free 10-session program is designed to give participants an in-depth look at how local government works and how they can become involved. Topics covered included key issues facing the County, the organization of County departments, the Budget, comprehensive planning, public safety and more. Graduates are encouraged to become leaders in their neighborhoods and active members of County boards and commissions.
