Planning Commission Policy Committee reschedules Sept. 1 topics to meeting on Sept. 6

 

The Planning Commission Policy Committee has rescheduled the topics originally planned to be discussed at the Sept. 1 meeting to a meeting on Tuesday, September 6 at 4:30 p.m.  Specifically, the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance topics that will be addressed include: 

  • R-3, Residential Redevelopment District
  • Nonconformities
  • Exterior Signage

 

The Committee will still be holding a meeting on September 1 at 4 p.m.  Topics scheduled for this meeting include:

 

  • Residential Districts (including R-1 Limited Residential; R-2 General Residential, and R-5 Multifamily Residential)
  • Multiple Use Districts (including MU-Mixed Use, R-4 Residential Planned Community, and PUD-Planned Unit Development districts)

 

Both meetings will be held in Building A of the James City County Government Center, 101 Mounts Bay Rd. Members of the public, organizations, businesses and other interested parties are invited to attend and opportunities for comment will be available. If you are unable to attend, comments can be submitted online by visiting www.jamescitycountyva.gov/citizen-survey/fillsurvey.php?sid=6.

 

Meeting materials will be available on www.jccplans.org/schedule.html the week before the scheduled meeting.
