Breathe Healthy® signs Distribution Agreement:

James City County firm acquires contract for distribution of their product in the Middle East

Breathe Healthy® has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Tamayz Medical, a subsidiary of Alajaji Group, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Tamayz Medical will have rights to sell the Breathe Healthy® respiratory protection masks in retail outlets in the Middle East and North Africa.

Tamayz Medical will supply the masks to home supply and health retail chains, primarily as a means to protect against the frequent sand and dust storms. The masks can also be used for various types of construction and for home use, such as protection from mold spores or allergens.

“Our products are a higher end alternative to paper disposable masks,” said Michael Vahey, owner of Breathe Healthy®. “Wearing a mask in the Middle East is more prevalent than in the U.S., due to the high number of sand and dust storms in the area. Now, customers in this region will have a choice that is more comfortable, reusable, stylish and highly effective. We hope our product will soon establish itself as the high quality, highly fashionable market leader.”

Breathe Healthy® has been part of the James City County and College of William and Mary Business and Technology Incubator since 2010.

The Incubator offers its clients a wide-range of services tailored to each company’s business-specific needs, including educational programs through the Mason School of Business; development of business and financial plans; access to local service providers; and introduction to financing and funding resources. Incubator clients can range from fledgling companies to existing businesses that are transitioning to new locations.

Entrepreneurs who would like to find out more about becoming an Incubator client should contact Bill Bean, Incubator Manager, at 757-221-7825 or webean@wm.edu.
