The Expo will feature a variety of youth, health & wellness, athletic and recreation demonstrations.

Come learn about all the recreational programs and services available to you and your family through James City County Parks and Recreation and its programming partners! The Destination Recreation Expo is set for Saturday, February 26, 9 a.m. – noon at the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, 5301 Longhill Road.

The Expo is a first preview and early sign-up for summer camps, sports classes and leagues and outdoor, aquatic, REC Connect and inclusion summer programming; our camps fill quickly so don’t let this opportunity pass you by! After the Expo, you’ll have to wait until April 13 to register for most programs.

The Expo features fun activities, exhibits, informational booths, interactive demonstrations, hands-on projects, raffles and more!  Parents, there’ll be games and activities to keep your children entertained while you gather information to help you make good decisions on nutrition, fitness, health and recreation.

Center staff will provide facility tours and class demonstrations and representatives from more than 35 parks and recreation and local athletic leagues will be on-hand with information on their programs. For more information, visit or call 259-5353.
