Today (5/24/11), the James City County Police Department arrested Ralph Terry (Age 50) of Newport News and charged him with Assault & Battery. These charges are in reference to an incident that occurred on May 5th at Patsy’s Diner located in the 9200 Block of Richmond Road.

At 4:30 p.m., Terry went to the business for a routine inspection. He entered the kitchen area and washed his hands. He spoke with a female employee there and then allegedly touched her on her hip and then rubbed his hand up her side, touching the side of her breast.  She yelled at him and demanded to know his name. The manager came into the kitchen and spoke to him. Terry then left the business.
Terry was released from the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail on an unsecured bond. No photo is available.
