Weekend maintenance work closes Greensprings Interpretive Trail Bridge

Regular maintenance work along the Greensprings Interpretive Trail will temporarily close the trail bridge on Friday, April 15, beginning at 8 a.m. The bridge will reopen on Monday, April 18.

 

The closure is needed to repair and replace deteriorating decking and rails on the long bridge of the Main Loop that crosses the Beaver Pond and wetlands which intersect with the Virginia Capital Trail. The Greensprings Interpretive Trail is located at 3751 John Tyler Highway. For more information on County parks, visit www.jamescitycountyva.gov/recreation or call (757) 259-5360.
