Arrest made for structure fires in James City County

 

The James City County Fire Marshal’s Office obtained confessions on July 12 relative to the arson fires that occurred at 9441 Richmond Road on June 26, 2012 (camper trailer and detached garage) and on June 27, 2012 (occupied residence). The James City County Fire Marshal’s Office conducted an exhaustive investigation into both fires which were determined to be deliberately ignited.

 

Mr. Nicholas Noel Robinson, a 29-year-old male and a resident of 9441 Richmond Road confessed to igniting both fires and was taken into custody. Mr. Robinson will be charged with 18.2-81 (Burning or destroying personal property, Virginia Criminal Code) in connection with the June 26, 2012 camper and detached garage fires and 18.2-77 (Burning or destroying dwelling house, Virginia Criminal Code) in connection with the residential fire occurring June 27, 2012. Both charges are felonies.
