JCSA launching Special Information Hotline and Customer Notification Program
On May 1, the James City Service Authority (JCSA) will launch a new Special Information Hotline and Customer Notification Program to keep customers better informed of service outages, planned events affecting large areas and emergencies related to JCSA services.
The Special Information Hotline, 757-259-4911, provides a way of keeping customers updated during events that do not require immediate notification. Customers may call this number for status updates or to find out if there is a problem within their neighborhood.
The Customer Notification Program involves contacting customers through their landline telephone with a recorded message describing what happened and when they should expect to have their service restored.
