Student Art Show & Exhibit, Free!

Family Fun Night at the Pool, Free!

Before & After School 2012-2013

The REC Connect Before and After School program is open to youth ages 5-14, enrolled in grades K-8. The program runs Sept. 4 through the end of the school year and is held Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. until school start and school dismissal to 6 p.m. The before and after school program is offered in all WJCC elementary schools; an after school program only is held for middle schools students at Berkeley (Toano and Hornsby students are transported to Berkeley). Norge Elementary School

This summer camp experience provides fun and activities for participants with disabilities. Parents are responsible for daily pickup of their child. Sign up for single or multiple weeks. Children in the Garden (ages 5-21 with disabilities), Free! New

Little Tykes Summer Camp (ages 3-5; must be potty-trained)

Byte Size Learning Computer Camp

Monday-Thursday, Aug. 20-23

Discovery Kids Puterbugs computer program prepares children with Today's Top 100 Tech Skills. Small class size, personal attention and exclusive access to continue the fun and learning at home are featured! No computer experience needed. Cooking Around the World (ages 9-15), New

Ages 9-12: Monday-Friday, Aug. 13-17, 1-5 p.m. Ages 12-15: Monday-Friday, Aug. 20-24, 1-5 p.m.

Campers will learn to explore different nations, cultures and ethnicities through their food. Focus will be on developing cooking skills through hands-on experience as well as providing knowledge of the importance of food in our daily lives, both as a means of nutrition and expression. Camp Movin' and Groovin' (ages 9-13), New

Monday-Thursday, Aug. 6-9, 1-4 p.m.

AMF Williamsburg Lanes

Camp includes on-lane and classroom instruction, over 2 1/2 hours of bowling, lunch daily and camp ends with a Friday Fun Day that includes a pizza party, extreme bowling, craft time, contests and more! Ed Teer Golf Academy Summer Junior Golf Camp (ages 10-14)

Freedom Park

With a guide, walk the Williamsburg Botanical Garden and count the petals, learn about good bugs ~ bad bugs and the micro habitats featured in the garden. Registration is encouraged at www.williamsburgbotanicalgarden.org.

 

Get Taken for a Ride (ages 7+)

Two Sessions: Monday, Aug. 20, 10-11:30 a.m. or Monday, Aug. 27, 10-11:30 a.m.
