Special Events


Santa Calling, Free
Tuesday, Dec. 4, 5:30-8 p.m.
Register by Nov. 27. Parks and Recreation is offering “phone calls from Santa” for children ages 9 and younger living in James City County and Williamsburg. Santa and/or Mrs. Claus will attempt to call children between 5:30-8 p.m.; however, specific call times cannot be guaranteed due to Santa’s holiday schedule. Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, Dec. 8, 9-11 a.m.
$12/person, ages 2 and younger Free!

Register by Nov. 30. You’re invited to this annual pancake breakfast buffet and morning of “holly-day” cheer with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Photo opportunities available. Max 100 people. Elect Clay Camp (ages 8-12), New
Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1-5 p.m.

Getting Started with Watercolor (ages 16+), New
Thursday, Nov. 29, 4-6 p.m.

Get Taken for a Ride (ages 7+)

Kid’s Gingerbread House Workshop (ages 7-12), New
Friday, Nov. 30, 5-7 p.m.

Learn To Swim Programs
Open registration held Nov. 7-16. After you have successfully passed a class, you can register for the next level during this two-week open registration period. If you’re unsure of your or your child’s swimming needs or level, attend one of the FREE swim evaluations on Tuesday, Nov. 13 or Wednesday, Nov. 14, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the James City County Recreation Center.
